Very nice, Larry!! I'm curious... Is this done with a "Free Play" style, one of your own, or without using the auto-accompaniment at all? Thanks for sharing!

I don’t have moderator privileges for this forum, so unfortunately can’t merge it with the one already up that montunoman posted.

So keep an eye on both threads, please!

Thanks Ted.

No, not a "Free Play", but an edited Movie & Show > StringAdagio style that I saved to a registration that ended in closely resembled Free Play style

If interested in trying this "Movie Tribute" registration I created
You Can Download Here Be sure to enable MultiPads in memory registration, as I used that feature (I have everything checked on in Registration Memory)

Thanks again for sharing! I have a Tyros 5 so I'm not sure whether it will work. The T5 might have a native version of the StringAdagio style. Hopefully I don't have to update Expansion Manager on my PC just to try out your registration. It really frustrates me going off-board to edit sounds and import additional content! And YEM has all the style and grace of Windows 3.1 Ugh!

Agree on YEM. Needs to be updated.

As far as the registration goes, maybe just try it out. However you'll probably need the original SX-900 StringAgagio style to associate style with registration. Peter Mahl has converted PSR-SX900 styles for the T5 , among them the StringApagio style that you can download and try here It's possible to get decent results, but the slight difference in keyboards makes conversions a hit or miss

Anyhow, it would be interesting to know how the registration sounds after saving and associating the converted T5 style with the above SX-900 registration

Maybe let us know

Nice work, Larry, especially the mixing. You have a good ear.
