These pop ups are quite annoying. The one on the bottom shows up it seems on any forum. The one that takes up the middle of the page was when I went to start a new topic. I am not getting these on any other site. If they are to help pay for this site then fine, I get it. If not, yuck.

Yes, I have them too. I guess it's necessity.

No problem here (No matter what browser I use)
Clear out your history & cookies then make sure your ad block is up to date, if still problems run an in depth malware check.
Also what browsers are you using as it may have changed some settings during an update. (Edge is notorious for this and is why most folks have stopped using it)

It's years since I had any problems with popups and unwanted commersials.
Ghostery ( https://www.ghostery.com/ ) and AdBlock Plus ( https://adblockplus.org/ )
is great and free browser addons that does a nice job.
Most browsers also allow to adjust settings to stop some of the 'spam'.

I have these ADs here on my computer, as well as on my iPhone, they just don't appear each time, so I wouldn't worry about any malware.

Unfortunately Synthzone is not receiving revenue from these annoying ads and I am trying to rectify this, sorry!

I don’t get these on an iPad. I would recommend to find something to stop ad tracking in your browser.

I'm using Chrome as well, no popups or adverts at all.
Take a look at extension(s) for the browser, it's very adjustable if you find the standard settings too tight, or you can just pause it with a click if needed.
