Make sure you have the latest OS and browser; make sure you clear out all the cache (Temp files etc.) from your OS and all history, cookies etc. from your browser. Try another browser as if you are using anything but the latest version of Safari its compatibility with many sites is poor. If it’s an Intel MAC you could also use dual boot and try a different OS to see if this solves the problem. (There are many Linux distros out there as well as Windows)

I can confirm I neither see it on my iPad nor on my iPhone, neither using the Safari browser nor the Chrome browser. I see it perfectly with my Windows 10 laptop.

This is the embedding code used by Synthzone. Maybe there is something not up-to-date about this way of embedding it, in a way Windows Edge gets along with it, but Apple systems don't; so you could present the code to a specialist forum...

Since not all Apple users have this problem, it must be something in your settings that is preventing embedded YouTube videos from displaying.
Curious, to those Apple users with this issue, can you view embedded YouTube videos everywhere else, or is it only a problem on SynthZone?forum? That would help in identifying the problem.
They didn‘t say if they used Safari. I just rechecked with my brand new iPad Pro 11 - same result as on the old iPad Pro and the iPhone XR: a blank screen where the embedded video should be. On the German forum musiker-board.de the embedded videos work without any problem.

So the question is, is it a Safari problem or an Apple problem? If you can't view it on any of your devices using any browser, while other Apple Mac users can, then maybe it's a setting in your Apple account preventing HTML5 embedded videos from playing?
And since it only occurs on the SZ, it's possible the code is written in a way, that your Apple settings do not like. (Security settings maybe?) Either way, it's kind of weird why it works for some and not others.
I cannot see the video using the latest Safari on the latest Mac Update.
I can see the video using Chrome, Firefox and Edge.
Thanks for all help ! I just resigned myself to the fact that Safari just does not work with Synthzone. I will just wait for the next major update and see if that helps.
Not a game changer for me but I will switch to Chrome
