Hi,Today I purchase a kn6500 bord It look like new,there no scracth on the keys ,the sreen look new, the control push bottom no ware at all


But I need your help
can you tell me how can I check this version I ham sure this keyboard never have new up

and I am trying to get the custom styles by Robert Messier,he have done very good arranger
can you tell me if the custum style have the expension .cst,
I use to have the kn7000 and the custom styles have another extention maybe .ats

We always return to technics keyboards and I can tell you that I
appreciate my new kn6500
Later I will search to change the floppy disk for emulator

1. Turn off the Key
2. Press and hold Digital Crawbar, Accordeon Registwer, Sound Explorer
3. Turn on Key

I thin there is a procedure to download the custom style on the kn6500 and its différent
For the kn7000 that I use to have but I dont have the procedure for the kn6500
Can you help me for the procedure

Harry can you tell me what the extension for custom styles because I have only the custom styles for the kn7000
I know that you have send me the custom styles for the kn7000 a long time ago but it dont fit in the kn6500
I have 001-.cst

No I did not receive you email

Its to bad that I cannot find the custom styles from Robert Messier
because is custom style fit for kn6500 and kn7000

Hi, I try to download the update 1.3 (2 floppy disk) to my kn6500 and the Initial floppy disk

I put the floppy disks in the floppy disk drive and press load
and on the screen its empty
can you help me

I'm only getting around to answering you now.
The update doesn't work the way you described it!

Current operating software version 1.3 for sx-KN6500/6000/5000
Version 1.3 is not suitable for sx-KN6000, not even with sy-EW65NX upgrade !!! ---
This update is the latest version of the operating system, which optimizes the internal workings of the instrument.

Current operating software
1. Click on these files and save them to any location on your PC hard drive.
2. If you now double-click on these files on your PC, they will automatically unpack on diskette.
So have two formatted HD floppy disks ready and
Label them with "Diskette 1" or "Diskette 2"

Important note for installation in the KN6500:
Both diskettes contain 4 files each. Please proceed as follows to install in the KN6500:
Installation of the update
Turn off the keyboard.
Insert disk 1.
Press PANEL MEMORY buttons 1-2-3-4 simultaneously and
switch on the keyboard meanwhile.
Release the keys as soon as text appears on the display.
After a while the keyboard will ask for DISK 2/2.
Change the floppy disks.
After a short time the display reports: COMPLETED, TURN ON AGAIN.
Turn off the keyboard and remove the disk.
Initialize the keyboard at power-on by simultaneously holding down the [LATIN]-[WORLD]-[CUSTOM] rhythm keys while turning on the keyboard.

I dont know if you have some custom styles and sequencers for my
6500 like keep on smiling etc..
Because all my backup styles.,custom styles,sequencers its for the
kn7000
