If I were still working, I would still be using my Bose L1 Compacts (2). The covered everything with incredible results. And, no one ever complained that the volume was too high, too low, and the audiences raved about how crisp, clean and clear the sound was at every venue. Yes, they are expensive, but well with the outlay, IMO. When I worked with a group, I just added a small, 8 channel mixer with effects to the setup - easily handled audiences to 500 ppl using the pair of compacts. Plus, never had a problem with feedback. Good luck, Bill, Gary
