Finished my 6mo. chemo regimen couple of weeks ago, then went in Tuesday for a CTI Ascan to see if they got it all. Then two days of waiting anxiously for the results! But finally got the call late Thursday, and Praise Be..!

I’m cancer free! No more chemo (that had got pretty bad the last couple of months)!

I’d just like to thank everyone here for your prayers and well wishes. Be assured, it made a difference.

Doc says it may take several weeks to a few months for the side effects (especially the fingertip neuropathy) to dissipate, but the finish line has been crossed.

On a bittersweet note, within minutes of getting the good news, I found out one of my great friends and an incredible guitarist had lost his battle and passed peacefully.

None of us know what the future brings. Cherish every moment… 🎹🩷

I can only imagine how exuberant you were! Now you can get on and have less worry. Sorry to hear about your friend.

Lost another one (great drummer, used to be with Asleep At The Wheel) a few days later.

I guess I’m at the age that I’m losing musician friends faster than I can make new ones! Just happy that it’ll be a while longer before they can say it about me!
