I wish I would have printed more threads from Roland-arranger.com to pdf while the site was up and the search function worked. Especially before that major upgrade about two years before it went down for good, that wiped out a lot of valuable historical content.
Roland-arranger was further handicapped by Roland's apathy toward its arranger product line, which probably led to a declining user base.

By comparison, Yamaha is THE major arranger manufacturer at almost every price point, with a healthy or growing user base. It's a shame, but if those folks can't go to psrtutorial, they'll eventually coalesce somewhere else (and hopefully not Facebook, because that's a terrible platform for any kind of technical discussion!) My $.02.

Agree fully! 👏👏👏

It's been a great journey through all these years! To me, SZ has been, and is still a great Forum!
I'll carry on peek into Gen Arr Forum as usual, and that's more or less every day. 😁

I also will miss the psr forum. It was the only place I could “usually “ find an answer to a technical problem that I was having. I belong to several other forums that more or less feature user’s videos which I have no objection to but it was nice to have a place to discuss problems with other Yamaha users.
Maybe synthzone’s Yamaha could become more popular?

I must confess, I find Facebook groups a really bad substitute for a decent BBS forum. Facebook’s Group Search algorithm is close to useless, and looking up older threads is close to impossible. It’s a good short term chat and demo platform, but places like SZ have DECADES of searchable knowledge and informed opinion.

Agree. Facebook is completely useless as a substitution.

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

As one of the one of Administrators of PsrStyles.com, I am pleased to inform you about an exciting development. We have recently opened an alternative to the PSR Tutorial Forum, which can now be accessed at: PSR Tutorial Forum Alternative .

We have also been in communication with Joe Waters, the owner of PSRTutorial.com, regarding the use of the PSR Tutorial Forum name and certain content from the original forum. While we are still in the process of formal discussions, please be assured that we will not use the forum name or any content without proper authorization. Our new forum is a non-commercial venture, even though it is a part of the PsrStyles.com platform. Additionally, Mr. Waters has expressed his willingness to consider posting information about this alternative on the official PSRTutorial.com site.

We are excited to invite all former PSR Tutorial Forum members to join us in this new space. With our collective experience, we are confident that this forum will grow into a valuable resource for Yamaha keyboard enthusiasts. The community is evolving every day, offering a fresh and professional environment to continue the legacy of the original forum.

Our new forum is entirely dedicated to Yamaha keyboards and related discussions, and we look forward to welcoming you to this vibrant new community!

Join us at: NEW PSR Tutorial Forum

Best regards,
PsrStyles.com Administration

Dear Gunnar Jonny, I respect your opinion, but as with any new platform, fresh faces, different opinions of different people and different opportunities naturally emerge. I believe staying active across different forums and platforms can only be beneficial. Thank you.

Nice.
Then I assume you will post a message at your forum to tell users about where to find Yamaha Musicians Forum as well?

We are open to collaborating with any musical forum administrators.

For clarification, we have official permission from Joe Waters to launch the new PSR Tutorial Forum and use all content from the original site. This information is also posted on the official PSRTutorial.com website, and Joe himself has registered on our new platform. Although PsrStyles.com is a commercial platform, but the new PSR Tutorial Forum remains non-commercial.

We strongly encourage all former members of PSR Tutorial Forum to register on the New PSR Turorial Forum and continue their discussions actively. Each participant should have the freedom to choose where they want to engage, as that is the right of every individual. I am proud to report that many people are very excited about the new forum.

Our goal is not to divert visitors from other forums but to offer an alternative space for discussion. We simply seek constructive collaboration with administrators from any forum or organization related to Yamaha Keyboards.

Thank you
