An online database for Yamaha Arranger Styles has been launched.
https://StylePlayer.ioTo see how this can simplify your life, please watch this intro video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7yDEOR4KzYAs of date, there are 4067 Styles covering these 15 Yamaha Arrangers:
Geno2
Genos
PSR-SX900
PSR-SX700
PSR-SX600
Tyros 5
Tyros 4
Tyros 3
Tyros 2
PSR-S975
PSR-S970
PSR-S775
PSR-S770
PSR-S750
PSR-S670
You can search for any Song and you will get a list of compatible Styles pertaining to your specific Arranger.
You can instantly download the style to your keyboard via a USB cable. No need to use a USB flash drive.
Additionally, you will see the PDF Score Sheet and the Chords & Lyrics.
For convenience, many songs have links to YouTube videos.
Conversely, you can search for any Style, and the database will display all the Songs that fits.
I find this an invaluable resource. I no longer need to hunt through the 800 styles on my Genos2 to find the best match to a given song.
The author spent 2 years programming this free community resource. Any person can upload their content.
The author has future plans to make a database for Voices and Registrations.
Imagine if you could instantly download not only the best Style to a given Song, but also the custom voices and Registrations. Then all you have to do is follow the lead sheet and change the chords.
I would like to see a MIDI file of the Song included as well, so that you can preview it instantly on your specific arranger.
