I was surprised to hear how good the Korg Pa1000 sounds when Andy played the organ solos.
This instrument was released 8 years ago.

This 80-minute concert was a treat for Korg Arranger fans.

I watched some of this, it was excellent. I enjoyed hearing some songs more than others. I do wish they listed the tracks and times but two amazing players who know how to get a lot out of their Korgs!

Thank you, Tapas. Very enjoyable, although very much on the schmaltzy side but “ Muzak” or pop instrumentals are a guilty pleasure of mine.

It was interesting to see that both performers used sequences/ backing tracks more than auto accompaniment. Of course, nothing wrong with that especially considering they both were playing two handed parts.

I’m surprised, but I really shouldn’t be that neither performer talked about or used the chord sequencer. I think KORG has a really good one, right? I absolutely love the chord looper on my Yamaha PSR. It seems like best of both worlds to me, bridging the gap between pre-recorded tracks and auto accompaniment. Diki is the only keyboardist that I know of that sings the praises of the chord sequencer, which I think is a very over looked, perhaps not understood feature. It has been a great tool for me, a real game changer!

Anyways, it’s great to hear those KORGs played by very skilled players playing the familiar old favorites
