Yamaha has a new App named EXPANSION EXPLORER for the Genos2.

I have installed this App on my iPad.

The YAMAHA EXPANSION EXPLORER App makes it easy to download a wide range of Expansion Content for Yamaha Arrangers.

You can search for Styles, Voices, Multipads and Song Data with the option to preview before downloading them.

The App can analyze any audio file in your music library and recommend the best matching Style.

During the setup process you can select your Country and the Categories like Dance, Pop, Rock, etc., that interests you the most.

You can connect your Genos2 via USB or WiFi.

The App has a demo mode where you can preview some styles and voices without making any connection.

I would be very interested in how well it suggests factory styles after listening to a recording… Does it use some online AI?

I guess its answers would be restricted to factory styles, it doesn’t listen to third party styles and suggest those if appropriate?
