For me, from this demo I would go with the Korg.

Unfortunately, the site doesn't appear to be accepting You Tube embedded links for some reason, so I have included the link to the video.

Enjoy

Curious they compare the latest arrangers against a 2007 Roland long out of production! And, let’s face it, it holds up in this example as good as any of them, IMO.

But this is rudimentary in the extreme. One sound (piano). One rhythm (hokey). No use whatsoever of any advanced features, no multipads, no articulated sounds, no multipads, no loops, no nothing.

Quite honestly, he could have played the same ditty on a 30 year old Technics and have it sound the same..!

Or was this supposed to illustrate that it doesn’t really MATTER what you play on, they all sound basically identical unless you dig in deep and get creative? It certainly succeeded in that! Pretty sure he could have played an SX920 or a BK5 and sounded identical at half the price.

The only thing that stood out (and not in a good way!) was that way too busy guitar part on the Ketron. Ouch!

But if you wanted a demonstration of the fact that it doesn’t matter one bit what arranger you use, this is it! Why spend a fortune on the latest greatest if you can’t make it sound better than a 15 year old Roland..?! 😂

Yes, however when you consider that 99% of those that purchase an arranger keyboard never go outside of the OOTB settings, (Hence there is always a great flurry on arranger forums when new styles and sounds are released) the comparison is representative.
If you click on his channel there are plenty more comparisons for the 99% of people that use arrangers OOTB.

All 4 are uniquely good in their own way, with the player, setup, and recording settings being a contributing factor.
Overall rating based on this video, for me:
1. Yamaha, with better right hand sounds.
2. Keytron, style is definitely top shelf stuff.
3. Korg, overall balance is near perfect
4. Roland, for a 20 year old board, still sounds good.
Very subjective, and with some editing, one can make the necessary adjustment to achieve a desired sound.
Happy Holidays SZ
