CES 2025 ended today with almost 140,000 attendees from 161 countries. There were over 4300 exhibitors. This makes CES the world’s largest electronics show covering 2.5 million square feet of exhibit space.

It is hard to cover all the exhibits and conferences in just 4 days.

You can read up on all the product releases in the CES Show Daily:

Numerous bloggers have uploaded video footage on YouTube to give you a glimpse of what transpired this week.

Youthman’s speciality is in Home Theaters. He attends all the CEDIA shows. This was his first CES experience. You can tell he was overwhelmed when he saw how much bigger CES was.

With so much coverage by independent bloggers, it almost negates the justification for flying to Las Vegas, staying at expensive hotels, beating the crowd and being there in person.

The NAMM Show is just around the corner. Let’s see what surprises are in store for us!

Thanks for all those links. CES is gadget heaven, and would love to get there one year.

For those who read music on a tablet, it would be nice if a more "readable" like tablet, the actual size of sheet music were available.(3:2,4:3 ratio) I know we have the iPad, but a more affordable android or windows version would be nice.

Anyway, lots of interesting "stuff" Tapas, thanks for posting
And yes we look forward to NAMM

Hi Larry,

Power Music makes large tablets specifically to display sheet music along with the software to manage the PDF scores.

https://powermusicsoftware.com/

This is the 20” version of their MusicOne Digital Music Stand

https://store.powermusicsoftware.com/product/musicone-20-digital-music-stand/

I have an iPad Pro 12.9” tablet. I use both the ForScore and SongBook+ iOS Apps to manage and display the PDF Score Sheets.

I researched into an affordable solution to display really large scores while I am playing on the Genos2.

I ended up buying this cheap VIZIO 40” 1080P HDTV ($199)

https://www.amazon.com/VIZIO-Chromecast-Mirroring-Streaming-Channels/dp/B092Q1TRJC/

Next, I purchased this Perlegear Studless TV Wall Mount ($15)
It is remarkably secure and stable and doesn’t require drilling into a stud wall.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BXNGHKMR

I am using these ultra-thin HDMI Cables

https://www.amazon.com/Twozoh-Flexible-Cable-Supports-18gbps/dp/B0B6RDZB7Q

The VIZIO TV has 2 HDMI Inputs. One is connected to a PC. The other is connected to the Genos2.

I am using this PageFlip Dragonfly Bluetooth/USB 4-Pedal foot controller to turn the PDF Sheet Music. ($110)

https://www.amazon.com/PageFlip-Dragonfly-Bluetooth-4-Pedal-Controller/dp/B06VT1C5ND/

While this is not a portable solution like the PowerMusic Digital Music Stand, it serves my needs in a fixed studio environment.

I am using the Nektar Pacer MIDI Foot Controller to trigger all the Arranger Functions on the Genos2 ($198).

If anyone is interested, here is my User Guide on how to setup the Nektar Pacer with the Genos2 with sample configurations.

Everything works flawlessly.

You can get MobileSheets to display PDF Scores on your Android Tablet ($15.99).

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zubersoft.mobilesheetspro

The MobileSheets app is also available in the Windows Store.

Wow thanks very much Tapas. That's a lot of informative information.
I do have Mobile Sheets Pro, and I'm running it on an older Samsung Pro Chromebook, but Bluetooth and updates are outdated on that device and need to find another solution, possibly something similar to your set up.
I'm thinking of either a dual monitoring from a PC and using a page turner (air turn) to display and turn pages with Mobile Sheets Pro. Or a used Microsoft Surface Pro. (Not an Apple fan, but...)

You gave lots of NICE options, and we appreciate that. smile
