Found this link at Korg Forums, and among the info it seems like there will be a OS update v1.4 adding some missing and new features for Pa5X coming soon. 👍

Hi,

Where is OS 4? Boy seems to be taking forever. This is a flagship model very expensive, I love it but support for improvements seem to be taking way too long

Coding for a firmware update takes a lot of time and effort, (They have to make sure it doesn't break something else, so a lot of testing is also done) and the more sophisticated the firmware (Arrangers are sophisticated) the more time it takes.

Download Python here and learn how to program (Code) some basic programs, you will then see just how time consuming it is.

Thing is, sure, it’s time consuming and complicated. That why they charge almost FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS for one 😱🤬💸

Having paid them that UP FRONT, you shouldn’t be listening to excuses why they can’t get the damn thing to work as well as the previous model in THREE YEARS OF WORK.

It ain’t quantum computing, it ain’t curing cancer, it’s just coding a damn arranger fer chrissake…. It has NEVER taken Korg this long to get a product to work before. NEVER. It has never taken ANYONE three years (and counting) after a product’s launch and they still aren’t anywhere close to fixing it up to be as capable as a PA4x.

Personally, had I ponied up nearly five grand THREE YEARS AGO and was still waiting for it to work right, I’d be looking for a lawyer…

Maybe some of you can drop five grand, wait three years and still not give a damn it isn’t working right, but that ain’t me..! I doubt I’d have waited one year.

If hundreds (thousands) of people ponying up $4500+ isn’t enough to put a team together to fix it in a few months, it should NEVER have been released. 🤬🙄
