Hello Morph
If you have a keyboard and a computer you could try this soft synth from native Instruments. http://www.native-instruments.com/index.php?id=pro53_us

As far as I know you can still find a real Prophet. Wine Country still sell revived Prophets. Cost is astronomical. Studio Electronics (or whatever is left of them) still sell Prophet racks I think....

Hmm... I better double check.

But as it's been suggested you can get most Prophetic with Pro-53, Vector Sector (although that's a soft Prophet VS) and a new Arturia Prophet V.

Why the nostalgia MOrph? Big yellow Q not keepin ya happy?
Wish I had mine. Still.
I'm really hooked on MWXTs though. Got two of them.
Looks it Waldorf are back and there wil be more Qs for us to play. THeir german site doesn't say much beside "coming soon". It's still pretty amazing that they are back in business though.

Hey Morph! I usually find old prohpets listed on ebay. Although, most of the ones on ebay are sold by people, who know what they have, and will sell for a very high price. Those that do not know, what they have will sell at a much lower price.

I once had this chick that always said the same thing as the Waldorf site.
She looked great but required a bit too much special attention and that is why she is not with me now. Think she had a hole in the blocke.
Nothin better than a racecar that can blow your doors off in the ¼ mile, be maintenance free and have really nice quarter panels to boot. Seriously though: No Im happy with Big Yeller, AKA Wally Q . Tell you about wally Q though...he's no love ballad machine LOL. Prolly would be first up for a demo of "Slow Walkin Walter / A Fire Engine Guy" though. Something else I noticed about that big yellow beast is that the first 10-15 minutes its running it has a plastic brain saw timbre to it. What does a plastic brain saw sound like you may ask? It is a non-favorable tone similar to that of a possom getting run over except without the hissing and then squishy sound.

Hey I will try those soft synths. Thanks!
