I have a very annoying advertising banner that slides up from the bottom of the screen each time I click on anything.Do any other members experience this,if so is there a way to disable it?

Hi Terry.
I don't have such banners or adverts popping up at all. A very good tool, browser extension, that I've found out works well is Ghostery. It's free for personal use, and it's customizeable to suit own preferences.

Not usually, however if there is something you want that is blocked, you can disable the extension for that page/site.

Not much of a problem on Apple. An occasional small drop down from the top or an easy to dismiss center page banner.
But let me remind everyone, it’s those banners that help SZ stay solvent. It seems such a small inconvenience, clicking it closed, for what it does to help provide this space for us to gather at. Let’s not throw the baby out with the bath water!
