Anyone using arranger keyboards as sound modules in the studio ? Especially Yamahas like Genos, Tyros or PSR-SX series ?
If yes, how do you save the settings for different songs / projects ?

Your DAW should save the track settings for each project. That’s assuming you ARE only using the sounds in the arranger.

It gets more complicated if you’re using the arranger to create the basic rhythm section backing then playing in extra parts. Or replacing existing parts with new ones.

That’s a pretty broad question there Vadim. Would you care to elaborate on what you intend to do?

I just wanna use Genos as a sound module, because the sounds it has are amazing.
Using Cubase as DAW

Locate the Midi implementation chart in the manual (Or it may be a separate download), then set up the DAW to work with them.
Also look to see if you can access the pre-sets and/or the one touch settings, as if so, you can set up pre-sets/one touch settings in the instrument (Which will include everything) and set the DAW up to choose these instead of just sounds.

You might try to look for a INS file that will make selecting the ROM sounds from Cubase nice and easy.

Probably a Genos users group would be the best place to look for one of those

Thanks.
I also started using Logic more because I like this workflow and UI/UX better
