I am watching for a deal on the PA1X or PRO, but under the current exchange rate and weak doller, I can buy at a better price then this right here in the US. Thanks for the heads up on this

With the Tyros far out selling the KORG PA1X it surely can only be a short time before the the prices level out,

When I bought my Tyros from Whitley bay organs in the UK the average price was about £1,899 yet, I eventually secured a price of £1,745. When I bought my KN7000 the average price was about £1,699, I was lucky like many others to secure it for £1,425 from Rimmers music.

I'd be looking to pay no more than £1,850 for the PA1X and when Yamaha release the new Tyros 2 in the summer I should think this price could drop another £200.

I think the KORG PA1X is the closest keyboard out there to the KN7000.

none them are as good as the kn7000.
Tried the korg today. Sound reasonable. Touch screen: not impressed, But would agree it is the nearest to the kn7.
Roland G70 also. Didn't seem very user friendly. IMHO

I really don't mind having an MP3 encoder/player, a built-in sampler and a CD-R drive in a keyboard. Also impressive and functional is the Dual Sequencer of KORG PA1X, which can load as the other plays, can crossfade and blend between each other, and can even sync together as one 40-part arrangement. Yum! Why be limited to 16 parts?

but I dont like how it sounds and that for me is the bottom line.
