I endorse what everybody has said about the KN7000, why would I want to change?
I too have tried the Tyros 2 and although tere are some nice features, I don't think the sounds come up to the Technics, so as long as the key keeps ticking, I'll hang on to it!!

I have been loyal to Technics for many years. Upgraded the keyboard every two years and now I have the knowledge of what they can all do. I have also been on the Tyros 2 and do I like the sounds it produces, but I think it is all down to the external speakers. I have been told that I can buy them separately and incorporate them onto the KN7000 which I may do in the future.

As you all maybe aware, I set up a user group for Wiltshire England and have many members that enjoy the Technics keyboards and, I have a website that is still going strong. So I don’t think there will be a problem for many years to come.

I know it has been very hard to accept that Technics has now gone. However! Technics will live on.......................................

Keyboardcapers: Try adding a small powered sub, the sound becomes round and full.

A big advantage of the external speakers with Tyros-2 is that you don't have the resonance problems as with the KN7000, when playing e.g. some loud piano.
