Hi Flutteringby, some checks: 1. be sure you disk is empty (maybe you have other files on the disk or for example place 03 is occupied with another song or style?) 2. copy the ast-file to this disk 3. put the disk in the KN 4. when you whish to load (e.g. World-styles): in this case you should see on place 03 in your diskload-menu on your KN7: 03world_ and on the right square only 'all custom styles' 3. when highlighted 03 .. press load Then it should work and you shoud have the 'original' KN6000 styles, including sound settings. Success, Cees Originally posted by FlutteringBy: Hi KeithB,
Yes, that is exactly what I tried to do....I moved the file onto a floppy & when I pressed Load, it told me "The file you tried to load is empty"... ...I checked the properties on the file & it shows 309 Kb, but for some reason my board doesn't recognize it.....that's why I was wondering if there was something special that had to be done....
Thanks for the reply,.... FlutteringBy

Hi Bill, Good news!!!!Your cd is perfect, you have the correct amount of folders and files. I have alerted our Quality Control department (me) to stop checking our inventory of cd disks since they are fine. Please consider the following for additional problems: 1. Write to Bill Gates 2. Punch computer, if that fails punch printer, if both fail try kicking each computer part in any order you like. 3. Check your prescription bottle for correct dosage of medication. 4. Be sure you have the proper glasses on for correct vision. I have three and they all do a different function. Time for Lasak surgery. 5. If all the above fail - never hit the KN7000 - you could void your warrantee. Glad the problem is solved. Walt Originally posted by BEBOP: HI WALT, I opened the cd today after a fresh boot and I only have one set of the Kn5000 files, instead of two as I had yesterday. Used space is 271,001,600 =258 MB 835 files 22 folders using 94.7 MB size on disk is 95.5 MB I was prining out directly from the disk the names of all the 682 custom files there when I got to the KN5000 it had duplicate files in the Windows Explorer index and all the files in both duplicates could be accessed. Strange. Thanks Bill
