It seems a while back someone put together a tutorial on turning your recorded technics song into an MP3 file. Does anyone remember? If so do you know where I can get the tutorial?

HI lrngkybrd
I don't specifically recall the tutorial but I will post a reply here to bring this back to the top in hopes that someone else may recall or have the tutorial or even write one.
I find it very easy to accomplish this. I feed the keyboards through the mixer into the auxillary in of the computer soundcard and then record directly into Cakewalk Deluxe Pro Audio. From there I can save the file as a raw wave, wave, MP3, or real audio. I am sure there are other programs other then cakewalk that will do this.
How about it members, will you help our friend here with his question and thanks all

Hi lrngkybrd:
I think you are probably referring to the 'Audio Recorder' software which is used in conjunction with the KN7000, which can save performances as WAV, MP3 or WMA.

I seem to remember that there was mas made a
kind of training manual bu "Sissle", a forum
member about this recording matters?
Also I think Alec Pagida and probably others
have discussed this several times.

A quick search gave me this link:

Hi Irngkybrd,
The manual should be sitting in your mailbox ready for you to download. What BEBOP says is true. You can convert the audio file in Cakewalk to an .MP3 file very easily. If you don't have Cakewalk, you can download dBPowerAmp on the Internet for nothing. Go to CNET and do a search for it in Downloads. That program works like a charm and converts files from .WAV to .MP3 or the other way around.

You can still download Sissle's manual from http://www.synthzone.com/files/technics/Burning%20CD2.doc

Hi Nigel,
Thanks for the "plug" again. Makes writing that training manual worth all the effort.
