I'm not sure about what motherboard to use for dual PIII...you could check www.overclockers.com. I have an ABIT vh6-t and it is great...especially the SoftMenuIII that allows you to do jumper changers thru software...great for overclockers.You can check out some overclocking benchmarks here...Notice that the P3 sdram overclocked beats ddr on athlon. This processor screams. It also only cost around $300 to build since I picked up many parts free at Circuit City, CompUSA, OfficeMax, Office depot.

Bought new laptop great,i hav best piece of advice for u as want music all time on ur LP
....better try software Kazaa,having loads 'n loads of file full of music of all kind,i assure,u never get out of it,as i am a big fan of it.

I've never heard of anyone seriously making music on a nix machine. Let's not mix up running web servers, security and music making.

Name one good midi/audio app for Linux or Unix. None of the major names support Linux.
