the 5000 sound chip was used in the pr*02 series,
and the original 6000 nx chip is used in the pr*03 series,
I guess with differences in the piano sample rom,
so there could be good chance that at least some or most of the program numbers match.

need to compare the explorer numbers in a 903 versus a 6000 to check.

it should at the very least provide a basis for editing much easier than starting from scratch?

Thanks all for giving me your best shot. Think I will post on the Cakewalk Forum to see if anybody there has something already built that they will email me. If not, will have to follow the directions for building my own on the Cakewalk website. (Thanks Scotee)

Thanks for pointing that out Gunnar Jonny. Also if any of you have instrument definitions that are hard to find that you'd like me to archive on the ftp site here at Synth Zone you may send them to me using email with an explanation of what they are and for which model. Unlike styles which can be covered by copyright making it fraught with problems to distribute, instrument definitions are fine.
