I can't figure how to transfer my e-mail address book entries from my old computer to my new one.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Hi Larry, I don't know which program you are using for your email but if it is Outlook Express, it's a fairly straightforward process. This is what I did when I recently changed my laptop. There may be other ways, and if there are, I'm sure they will be posted - stand by !
Use Explorer to navigate to WINDOWS\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book and you should see a couple of files named UserMPS.wa~ and UserMPS.wab Copy them to a floppy (if very large you could zip them) and then just copy them back to your new PC in the same directory.
OE does have a facility for export and import of the address book but it seems to asume that you are doing this to Microsoft Exchange. However, there are options for Export/Import as a CSV (Comma Separated Values) which I haven't tried, but may work.
The Export/Import facilities are accessed from the 'File' option on the top Toolbar.

Hope this Helps

Here is another option

In Outlook Express
click addresses in the tool bar
In the address book box click
File
in the drop down box select Export/then address book
Then in the next box save in at the top click arrow
then from the drop down box select 3 1/2 Floppy [A]
click on save
done

Hey Larry,
How about sending out some of your great tunes. Your boogie is the finest. Everyone could learn a little something from your stuff. I think you have great chops. I see you have one tune up on Roger's Jukebox. He has room for lots more. How about it?
