No Larry, that's not the point here. If you record using the onboard styles
or those you create yourself or made by other who don't claim copyrights etc.
it's not illegal, at least as far as I can see it.
The problem starts when we use i.e. external styles bought from a webshop or
elsewhere, and maybe use a new for each song to upload for free download, then
we spreading this stuff illegal. The same are if we do this with midifiles.
Many posts being done about this issues already, so it's not nessesary to
repeat all that who is posible to find in earlier treads.
But Rikki's intention is to create a group to share experiences and results when
create styles and pads yourself, and that is really great. My point is only to
place a little reminder about that we should keep in mind about this rules.
Too bad if we see the same mistake from byegone days be repeated, the lack of
producing new quality styles are probably a result of what happened, just a few
buy the styledisks, but a lot of people share it openly via internet.
