I recently purchased from Voyetra their new Record Producer Deluxe program to handle MP3, WAV, and WMA files recorded from the KN7000 that I have.

I have a computer hooked up to the KN7000 but I do not have it also hooked up to the internet.

I found out that from here on in Voyetra products will not work on any computer that is not hooked up to the internet.

When I asked for a refund on the purchase price I was told that I am out of luck as they do not make refunds because of that reason.

If you are planning on getting some music software, you should be aware of Voyetra's new policy so you do not end up losing your money if your keyboard computer is not hooked up to the internet.

Do you know of any good music recording products that do not require internet hook up?

Thanks,

Larry

I have used goldwave for preparing wave files and find it excellent. It also handles mp3, but I don't know about WMA. Goldwave is shareware and is available from www.goldwave.com as well as from some shareware sites.

Larry,
I use Acoustica.
It will record and save as an mp3,wav,wma or real. Not a lot of bells and whistles, rather a simple program that does a lot. You can add to your recording as a voice or sound over, fade in/out, volume control, and speed control, plus more
Free to try and I believe $20 to own.

Try the demo version of Powertracks 8.0.
Is is a sequencer, leadsheet prints, chord recognision, audiotrackrecorder (a.o WMA,MP3,WAV) and the price is reasonable.
