Hello all,
On KN7000 at the Sequencer REAL TIME
Say I choose the following channels to be recorded with the following voices
RT1 - Piano
RT2 - violin,
LFT - accordion
CHD - Waltz
CTL
After I finish playing I press Rec Stop.
Now I can play it back. And I want to play along with my recording with a different voice say I want to play with organ in addition to the existing recording mentioned above
When I change RT1 to organ, the piano from my recording has changed to organ. So I cannot have the organ voice played in addition to the previous recording voices (Piano and violin).
Is there any way to lock the RT1 piano, RT2 violin that I previous recorded? So that when I play back the recording and change RT1 to organ, the organ voice want change the piano voice that I had when I recorded it?

I usually leave channels RT1 and RT2 vacant and therefore available to the keyboard for real time playing. There could well be a better way to overcome the problem. Maybe someone else can tell us how.

Hello every one,
I tried the instruction above. The following questions rose.
1. When Track Copy, Do I copy from the song that I just loaded say song 1 to the same song (song 1) or to a new song?
My song 1 appears as 1 A (A latter is added) is there any reason for it?
I copied to the same song and to different song, and I did not succeed.
When trying to track assign the tr9 to part 5 the Tr9 was already assign to the part5. It is also asked you to choose from the left menu. I chose initial. Otherwise you cannot go forward with the OK. Which selection should I choose (there are 3 options)?
copying to another song will mean some tracks in one song and other tracks in another song. Since this would be useless to anybody trying to play along with a specific song, it should be pretty obvious that all tracks need to be in the same song besides there was no mention anywhere of changing songs. If Tr9 is still assigned to Part5, it just means you have not followed the instructions properly to copy RT1 into the correct track - perhaps not even into the correct song!

Hi,
I found my mistake. I copied track 1-9 to track 1-9 respectively. Instead of coping track 1 to track 9. I misinterpreted, and I apologize for it.
I want to acknowledge that it works perfectly with the instruction above, Thanks bunch!
As I got more excited about the sequencer capability, I noticed at Sequencer/Real Time, the Tr7 RHY couldn’t be changed to recording. Is there any reason, and for what the tr7 RHY is used?
excellent you can repeat as many times as there are spare tracks to build up the song now. RHY can be changed in track assign - you just have to OK that change. APC is real time record whereas RHY is for step record.
