WHEN I SWITCH ON MY KN6500, ALL THE ACOUSTIC PIANO SOUNDS ARE DISTORTED IN THE UPPER OCTAVES.
SOMETIMES IT WILL COME BACK TO NORMAL WHEN LEFT ON FOR 20 MINUTES BUT AT OTHER TIMES IT TAKES A LOT LONGER.
THIS HAPPENS WHEN PLAYING LIVE OR WHEN PLAYING MIDI FILES.
THE INSTRUMENT IS PERFECT OTHERWISE.
ANYONE OUT THERE WHO HAS HAD THIS PROBLEM.

What often catches people out is the modulation wheel. Make sure it is set to minimum.

I have a KN 7000 problem with the Concert Grand Piano at times. It jumps off key while playing. If I change styles or initial it goes back to normal.
I think it is related to certain styles. When it gets to bad I will try the upgrade and see if it corrects it.

Have you installed all of the upgrades for your instument?

IN ONE OF THE MICROCHIPS INSIDE THE
KEYBOARD AS I HAVE TRIED ALL SUGGESTIONS
AND HAVE ALSO TRIED TO INITIALISE THE
INSTRUMENT WITH NO RESULTS.

I had the 6000 and now have the 7000. There are other forum members with 6500 and I am sure they will give you your answers.
