I've bought and love the new KN7000 - playing to the public the '1 second' file change is brilliant; and after many weeks work I've converted all my special rhythms from KN920 to KN7000 via KN5000 using EMC's magic product....however....
There are some standard rhythms in the KN920 that I would like to use and me brain hasn't yet worked out how convert them for use on the KN7000...
Has anyone any simple method of converting KN920 factory rhythms...or has someone already done it...and has them posted somewhere...?

Hi Roger, Don't know much about your KN920. Can you transfer the built-in styles to Composer, (if it has one?) save to disc and transfer that way - Just a thought May be talking out of my rear end
Good to see you've finally 'succumed' to the temptation of the 'Lady with the Blue Light'

Hay Willum, would be interesting to hear some of that. Can you zip a little of that over?

Dear Bill
You're right as always - I have to transfer (copy) the standard rhythms to the composer area and then save them to disk before converting them into KN5000 files which can then be reloaded back into the KN7000.
I finally worked that out sunday morning after the Missus had gone off to work leaving me in peace for a while....
I honestly don't know what Dougie means do you.....
Best wishes
Roger M
p.s. you talked about us southerners having a Synthzone meeting....maybe our Keyboard Capers club here in Swindon in Wiltshire could host one sometime in 2003...
p.p.s I'm also enjoying listening to MP3 files through my KN7000 whilst typing this...
