My KN7000 was put to the test on my last trip in the motorhome. I normally carry the KN7 on the bed with the front end up against the wall to the bathroom so it cannot go anyplace when turning or stopping.
However, one night being over tired I left it on the full width vanity in the bedroom and just retracted the bedroom slideout knowing it could not go anywhere. The next day when I parked and was extending the bedroom slide I heard a big bang so stopped extending the slide and pulled it back in a couple inches, and went outside to see what the slide had run into. Nothing in the way outside so I looked into the bedroom and there on the floor between the vanity and the bed was the KN7000 being compressed by the hydraulics of the slide. I was sure I must have destroyed it as it had fallen about three feet landing on the back side and while standing vertically it was compressed by the slide retracting to some degree. I finished putting the slide out and plugged in the kn7000. It does not have any apparant damage and works perfectly
It had a sd card and a floppy when it fell also and they both work fine. I can't find anything wrong with it. It is indeed built like a tank Thankfully

BEBOP.....WOW! As I read your tale of the tank....My visuals were right there in your MOHO....my heart was pounding....still is!

Sure am glad my 7K has it's own homemade wood stand screwed to wall in my MOHO! It sits on that waffle rubber sheeting....When I travel down the road it also gets bungeed to the stand!

My MoHo has no slide & I don't have to share my rig with a wife or a husband! (I will get another cat somewhere down the road!)

Course the best part of your story is that your 7K is intact! Will wonders never cease???
