Hi i've just had the time over the christmas break to figure out how to connect the kn7000 to the pc - the instructions were a bit tricky but now it works i have tried a few recordings and placed them on a web page the piano sounds a bit clunky - i think its the recording level http://members.lycos.co.uk/toneharb/

Sorry about the advertising - it's not mine - its because of the free web space

Best Wishes
Tony

Check your speakers, Bill. Your "Girl form Ipanema" sounds pretty good on mine (Bose). If you like a slightly mellower sound then select another piano on your 7K - I find that the electric pianos sound great with this song. If you are using "Audio Recorder" you might like to try a program which will "normalise" your MP3 as an alternative solution.

Hello Tony,

Enjoyed your music. I thought the piano sounded fine. As Mike (above) says, perhaps an electric piano voice would provide a mellower sound - maybe even more appropriate for The Girl From Ipanema? Its a great tune and you play it well.

Tony,

Very professional. All 4 could be used as demos for the 7000.

Hi Tony,

It sounded great to me. I especially liked the piano sound so I guess it was Ok on my computer system.

I have an Aiwa sound system with Sound Blaster Live on the computer.

Happy Holidays

Hi Tony,
Great stuff!! Sounded good here.
I think that I detected some glitch noise on some recordings - typical of the computer trying to do too many things at once while recording.
There have been discussions of this problem on several of the forums. Even with XP running on a 2Ghz computer you are apt to get recording glitches unless you turn off a lot of the process that are unnecesary for the recording function.
When I get a chance, I'll look some of this up and post some links, ETC.
Walt

Hello, I agree with all comments. The songs sound OK on my PC with SB Live! sound card and Headphone or Philips Bass+satellite boxes.

Kind Regards, Fred

Thanks you've inspired me - might have another go at a few recordings - the hard part is setting it all up - carting the PC downstairs / working out how to upload to the freeserve site !
