Bill Norrie Senior Member Registered: 01/16/02 Posts: 2330 Loc: North Yorkshire UK	The Technics Musical Instrument Division closed down some months ago Bazz, so there is no longer any support for any Technics Instruments and no more keyboards will be manufactured by Technics. Five years is what my memory tells me. If anyone else has more details, please share them. Many Technics owners are still playing the earlier models such as the KN800, 1500, 3000 etc. That implies to me that we have bought a quality product with excellent reliability. Chuck

They stopped the manufacturing and supporting keyobards. However since the production and stock of KN7000's was much higher than of KN2600, for KN7000 people can still expect some support. However a colleague and friend are developing an SD-managing tool, called KN-SD-Explorer. And we tested it: it will be compatible for KN2600 also. None of them have ever seen the inside of a shop. I sold the KN3000 and it has never been in a shop either.
