i'm not using panel mems, but if i accidentally hit one of the buttons, there seems no way to exit the section..i can hit another pm button but hitting exit does no good, and i am stuck with turning the unit off/on--a problem on gig.

Try this - if it's the same as the KN7000.
Program menus - Panel memory mode - page 2 - switch all filter types to off.
It's a possibility to solve your problem.

thanks!!! that works..doesn't get me out of panel memory,
still can't do that, but don't need to... now i can just set up the first one with a sound/style, and change everything on the fly as usual, and use the panels more now for just favorite sounds and/or fave styles...that really helped.

Wow, First a few questions.
“There seems no way to exit the section” What are exiting from? When you press a memory button changes will occur but the basic window setup, it does not change. There are many possible changes like, the volumes, the instruments, the style, the tempo ---ect, But the basic window does not change.

If you can clarify the problem, and we understand it, and the keyboard is working properly, then one of us will have your answer.
