Last night I was messing around with my 6500 and found something pretty cool. I started with the girls doo sound, and edited it to sound like a small chior. spelled wrong im sure! ha ha But what I did was went into edit sound/tone and did a tone copy and then brought the copy down a 5th to -5 and there you have it. Sounds fuller and nicer. Yeah I know I could just play the fifth too but never could I do a melody that was. Try it you'll like it! Does anyone in here like the voacl doos and daa's etc...??? Let me know what u think and if you like the vocals on the 6000/6500. Also, Anyone who has the expansion, are there a lot of good vocals on it?

SPARKY:
ALL THE VOCAL SOUNDS ON MY KN-6500 ARE TRULY SUPERB. I DON'T THINK I HAVE EVER PLAYED A GIG, THAT SOMEONE DIDN'T COME UP TO ME AND ASK ABOUT THOSE HUMAN VOICES ON MY KEYBOARD. EVERYONE IS REALLY IMPRESSED, AND BECAUSE OF THAT I USE THEM A GREAT DEAL. ALSO THE VOICES ON THE PREFORMANCE PADS ARE JUST AS GOOD AND WHEN PROPRLY INJECTED INTO THE SONG, ARE JUST A IMPRESSIVE. BEST WISHES
AND HAPPY PLAYING. ARJ

I don't think I've heard better vocals on any comparable keyboard in the same market area and, yes there are new vocal samples on the cards.

most things can be achieved in the sound edit suite on the 6500, it is very comprehensive.

you should also try the various technichords to fatten up the sound in this way because the results may be musically superior to a shift of a constant 5th in the edit.
