It is a shame for all the poor unfortunate people that have paid top money for a new KN2600
Being now available for £299 what will the trade in price be about £150 /$270 or there-a-bouts.
That has to be a con by anybodies standards

Yes it is a shame but other keyboard prices are fallen in the past couple of weeks too.

Couple of weeks ago I got my KN2600 online for 550 euro and considered it a bargain - I still do, I paid as much for my hoover but don't enjoy it near as much. At the time the PSR2100 was 1600 euro here in Ireland and the KN2600 was 1300 euro. I saw the PSR2100 available at 700 euro during this past week.

It's the same for most electronic stuff I think, we want it, we buy it - then the price comes down LOL

I wonder why the prices are so much lower in Europe. I know of nowhere in the States that one can purchace a 2600 at that price.

I don't know. But the other side of the coin is my sister in USA just bought a Korg PA60 for half what I could find it for on European sites, new that is. But the prices I quoted in the previous post were all referring to new also.
It's like a daily lottery once you begin a search, you don't know when it's right to stop looking and buy - if I wait till tomorrow will I save a couple of hundred - that's not a comforting thought.

I agree that your 2600 was a bargain at £299/550euros and you are one of the fortunate ones when it comes to wanting trading it in but spare a thought for the less fortunate that paid £999/1450euros only a matter of weeks ago what are theirs now worth??????
The conparitively new on the market KN2400 and KN2600 have been reduced by 3/4 which is unprecendented and you cannot and or the dealers get hold of any KN7000 unless their business has been so slow that they still have one on the shelf.

It is generally accepted that Technics keyboards are more popular in the UK and Europe than in the USA perhaps because of this the stockpiles are greater at present and if Panasonic were to make a major move then where their stockpiles are is possibly where the action is so the big discounts are not available in the USA????
In the UK at this time the dealers cannot get hold of any KN7000 whats more they cannot even order them
