Can anyone please explain the following?
I press the "SD Song Medley" button and select a folder of 20 songs which play after hitting start. But when I want to make a pause using the Chrome plated button I receive
"Error 83. The file that you tried to load is empty" In fact the same message is displayed with the volume and stop buttons.

The Chrome Panel can only be used to control SD Audio (Midi Files), or SD Sound (Converted MP3'S)

You cannot use the chrome panel to control Technics files, which I suspect, your trying to do.

Thank you Larry. Yes I was using it with Tech Files. Seems a bit short sighted by the Technics people. Is there no other way to pause a medley without having to start again from the beginning?

(Maybe the 8000 will allow chrome console control of Technic Files)
