Help

My PC Crashed recently and I lost everything on the machine - I'm trying to reinstall the SD Jukebox software - I am using the serial number on the box but it won't take it

Should I email panasonic and ask them why this is happening or am I taking it from the wrong place

I have done my first CD but need to do another one

Cheers

Hi Andrew
There are 3 serial numbers in the kit - one on the box, one on the card reader and one on the back of the paper envelope, which contained the CD. The one you need, is on the paper envelope and is a ten digit number. Hope you haven't thrown it away
If you still have trouble, email me.

Hi Bill

I didn't have an envelope CD - I had a normal CD cover and have just found it

Thanks for telling me where they are kept

Phew! - (brieves sigh of relief)

CD was coming on nicely too

Do you want me to let you know when it's done?

Hiya Andrew
Hopefully one of the numbers you are recording is 'Dr Who' theme music for your website???

p.s. I too experienced the same panic when trying to use the wrong serial number...

Hi Folks,

Last weekend got myselg also an SD-Jukebox kit. Installation went well, with the serialno, that is on the back of the CD-case. So never throw that case away. How much easier is registering our tool KN-SDExplorer
http://kn-sdexplorer.has.it

By the way the Jukebox kit contained the Panasonic Card reader. Now I understand people having trouble and complaining about performance. It appeared that the expensive reader in the Expensive jukebox kit is just USB 1.1, which is almost ten times slower than USB 2.0. I have an Apacer reader ($8 in the store nowadays) which is USB 2.0 and which I used when testing our tool. Backup and restore of and 128 MB SD Card is in the Apacer reader 2.5 times faster. So for SD Card management a fast USB 2.0 reader is recommended.

Kind Regards, Fred

P.S. At the website http://www.panasonic.co.jp/customer/mi/cb7e.html you can register and mwhen you registered after purchase, you might be able to get back your data.
