Hi,

Is there PC software available that is able to play the technics format saves to floppy disk by a Technics SX-PR703 Piano?

The piano is also able to save in SMF format, and I can play that with WinAmp but it seems like the rhythm section is lost.

My intentions is to make a CD to be able to play that on normal CD player.

Any suggestions are welcome and thanks in advance.

If your end requirement is to produce a CD the best way to achieve it is connect the Line Out sockets of the PR703 to the soundcard Line Input on your PC and play the Technics song files in your PR703 to record them on the PC. Quite possibly your PC already has the software to do this but if not there are many suitable programs available. Goldwave is a low cost program used by some members of this forum.
Technics files cannot be played directly on the PC. They can be converted to MIDI files containing the accompaniment information. The process which has been covered many times on this forum is fairly tedious and playing them on your PC will not give the same sound quality as recording from the PR703.
