Hi All,

Is it possible for me to load some of my own effects into my KN 2400 to be stored in my performance pads & then saved to floppy?.....I would like to add applause & a few other effects that either I haven't found or don't seem to be on the board.....

The clips I have now are in .wav format....do they need to be converted to a different extension?....

Once I have them on a floppy from my computer & in the 2400, do I then follow the manual instructions for recording a phrase in the performance pads? or compile?...

Or does anybody have a better suggestion for what I want to accomplish?....

The more I read the manual, the more confused I get!!.... ....

Many Thanks,

Applause is a GM bank sound..Check under your drum kits and see if sound effects are listed.

Fran,

Thank you so much....you've just opened up a whole new world for me...I wasn't even aware that all those effects existed although I thought it was strange that I could only find 4 effects in the performance pads, whereas my old KN 1000 had a lot more effects than that...

I'm off to play, I appreciate your help... ...
