Hello,

I would like to buy a second keyboard or synthesizer but I would like to hear from you what would be the best sollution for me.
I have actually a kn6500 and I would like to add a second instrument.
The only thing I am interested in are good and plenty off sounds.
I would put my kn6500 on the bottom off a stand and the second instrument on top.
I would play with the sequenzer from the kn6500 and sometimes play with the voices from the other intrument.
I don't want a soundmodule....this is to difficult to combine with the sequenzer from the kn6500.

So the main thing are good and many sounds...maybe an instrument that is expandable.

Or should I wait for the kn7000 ...I will buy this one that's a fact.

I hope you will give some ideas.

Thanks a lot,
Alain

Hi Alain.
I was in my local music shop just the other day. (I'm in the U.K.) and wanting to pass the time I played the new Yamaha PSR 2000 and was very impressed with it and thought it to be good value for the money.(U.K.Price about £1150). Finished in silver, so it would match up with your KN6500.

When you just want an extra keyboard, you could also consider buying a master keyboard. It's a relative cheap solution, and you can play all the sounds of your kn6500 via midi.
I myself have a fatar SL880 and play sounds of my kn6000. Works great !

Thanks for the reply but I have some times ago a yamaha psr2000 and I sold it.
The main interest is that I have as many voices (good voices) that is possible.
I do not need a sequenzer and I do not need styles.
I need it as a second instrument to compleet my kn6500.
Thanks anyway,
Alain

Hi Alain
I give myself a Yamaha Motif6 as an Christmas gift. I´m very satisfied with it. Also the Korg Triton is a good choice. But best choice maybe is to wait and hear the new keyboards which will be launched in this autumn.

Another way is to keep your 6500 and use the new 7000 on the top. If you like organ sounds, this will be a very good 2 manual combination. Very near the Hammond B and C series. But the choice of an extra keyboard is related very much in what kind of music you will play.
Good luck
Lindoz
