During the years we've been spoiled by reading Alec's excellent reports from the Musikmesse in Musikmesse as well as other product
reviews and stuff he wrote i.e. for TechPlus Magazine.
Wondering if he is going to visit the messe this year too, and maybe we can look forward to a new informative post about it?

Well, I know there are no more new Technics to look forward to, but a "spy" or two to investigate what to come would be really nice.
So Alec, (technicsplayer), or anyone else, who are going? I'll gonna zoom in my antennas to be ready to receive all the good news.

Hi,

It's too far away to go, fi=or just the hobby besides hard work. And to be honest there is no need for me to go. I am webmaster for my retailer who won the "Yamaha Best Dealer Award" Just have a look on the site and select menu "Assortiment" and then at left side either Keyboards or Piano's. Then scroll around and see what is available. My retailer was the first dealer who had the CVP309GP in house so I can go there and try what ever I like. There was quite a hype about Roland G70. But have you heard Korg PAX1?

The site? --> http://www.keyboard-centrum.nl

Kind Regards, Fred

I feel that you have completely missed the point.
There is a lot more to Musikmesse than just a few keyboards there are also all the things that your dealer does not carry.I think that all dealers everywhere have won the Yamaha award and the Roland award and the Casio award and!!!

Gunnar,

How right you are. I welcome reports from dealers of a particular product. Profit as a motive, I am skeptical.

Alec has been an honest reporter of the newest technology in keyboards. I for one trust his judgement and look forward to his comment.

One day I hope to shake his hand for the support he has given me. Growing older, , maybe wiser.

Johnnie C,

Right you are. Forget the commercial hype and lets see an honest (not for profit) assessment of what is available.

Still luv my 7000
