When does Technics typically have brochures available? Here it is August, the release timeframe for the KN-7000, and no brochures or detailed technical Specifications list or anything!

Technics is not alone. The Yamaha Tyros is supposedly only 4 weeks away (Mid-Sept UK) and again no brochure or even a specification sheet.

I never did find a brochure before I bought my KN6500! The only brochure available at my dealer was for the 6000, but since the 6500 was virtually an upgrade of the 6000 keyboard, that was OK for me. I bought my 6500 several years ago but never did follow up whether a specific 6500 brochure was ever published. (Does anyone know if it was?) So, who knows if and when a 7000 brochure may be available. By the way, why is the MRP(Manufacturer's Retail Price) for the new 7000 such a big secret? I have found a variety of prices in US dollars; my local dealer today quoted me a price of US$4995 (before haggling), which I thought was out of sight. Anybody else know what the 7000 SHOULD be priced at as a fair price in US dollars????? Thanks.
