Hi there Mike,
How are things up there in Alaska. I will be up there very shortly. Aren't you the guy that told me you built 3 Wersi Organs? AWESOME.
Yup we got some "techie" experts in here. They can and will help you with anything you want to know. Just stand by.
Good to see you here. Regards to Alaska from

Jupiter-et al - No - I am not the WERSI guy!

As for Alaska - it is snowy today here in Homer by the sea!!

What I am trying to find out is whether or not you can trigger a sequence to play over the top of live arranger play - without cutout. Lets say that I had prerecorded a string section of 16 measures which I wanted to have play back during one time through a verse- and changing chords in real time would have no affect on the sequence playing back. Almost like you turned on a tape recorder and were playing along with the tune.

regards
MH

yes, record it in the pads (2 tracks available) without chord follow (through setting). You can trigger and loop to taste.

just as easy to do it in the sequencer, however many tracks you like, and use the control track to bring it in and out of your playback at the required measures.

so sequencer for defined measure play, pads for jamming at any time you like.

Okay - but do the registrations load new pad sequences also when you change songs? or do the performance pads contain a set sequence that doesn't change when a new song or registration is pulled up?

The answer is both.

save as registrations (3 bank or 13 bank) and user pads together. You can have 18 different programmed pads coming up with each registration load, so that should be enough for a jamming session, before you load the next 18.

Or just save registrations if you want to leave the pads alone on the next load.

don't be put off by the patronising 'techie' talk, about as accurate as the identification of new members
