Hi All
This is my first post on here, but from what i,ve been reading it seems a very friendly place.Im from Norwich area in Norfolk UK.
I have recently bought a used KN6K and love it.I,m not a great player but this machine makes me sound better than I really am.It has an upgrade module called the 65NX which I beleive makes it virtually the same spec as a KN65,and also has a hard disk installed (SX3).There is one thing which I am unsure about, perhaps someone can advise.Bearing in mind the upgrade modules installed ...what is the last software upgrade version available????at the moment it is ver7.0. which is the version that came with the 65 upgrade kit.also if there are any later versions where can i get them from??? any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi Bill and welcome to The Forum.
As far as I'm aware, Version 7.0 was the last firmware issue for the KN6000.

BillT ... Welcome ... I have had the kn6 since it came out and have still only skimmed the surface of its capabilities ...
Whatever you need to know, you should be able to learn from the 'techies' on this site ...

Hi BillT,

Welcome to our Technics Discussion Group on the Synth Zone. You will feel at home here. We have a great group of people who are always willing to help when possible. I am playing a KN7000 now, but also have a KN6000 equipped identically to yours - SX3 hard drive and 6500 upgrade board. Never used the hard drive. It is still in its unformatted state. Was too busy taking lessons and learning to play.

Post your questions any time. Again, welcome.

Best Wishes,

Chuck
