I HAVE A KN5000 WITH HARD DRIVE FITTED.
DO I NEED SOFTWARE TO HANDLE FILES OR NOT ?

I had one on my KN5000 and as far as I can remember, no you don't need software it works similar to the PC hard drive. i.e.: Folders and Songs (files).

We have our Keyboard Club meeting tonight, I'll see if I can get more information for you.
