There was much more development power necessary than in the planning phase expected to fullfill all the needs for the basic PLUG-iN system. When it looked like a simple adaption of the new SD card system, finally it was a new development based on the HD extension systems from the past.
The first discussion with Technics Japan proposed a big memory for the PLUG-iN, in fact, after finishing the KN7000 development only about 30% of the memory was remaining for the PLUG-iN!
With a very big expenditure we found a way to seperate the software code into 2 parts and where able to offer the planed features and the expanded FSB. Now and finaly the system is ready for the first delivery.
And here are the well known user friedly features of the PLUG-iN 7001:
1.
Operation shell like HD-SX6, similar to HD-AE5000, HD-HSO3000 and HD-MEC2000
Easy and simple change from hard disk drive to SD card system. You will find all Songs in the same order like they was on the hard disk drive. Not only the structure of the data is identically, also the standard functions such as Juke box or C.L.S. is identical to Hd-sx6 or the F.L.S. in the KN5000/HD-AE5000.
Although also PLUG-iN system store the SD-SOUND (MIDI), in addition, these files are integrated into the same lists and can be found better and faster as well.
For all users, who do not want to "live" with only 16 indications and 99 listings want: The PLUG-iN system offer the well known 26 indications of the Songtitel and max. 240 listings of 16 Titel=3840 Songs.
2.
TLX=Technics/Custom Lyrics Extension
Already in the KN5000/HD-AE5000 however reliably since the HD-SX6 the TLX file is an important and helpfull function for many musicians in the Technics keyboard. Not only the MIDI Songtexte will have more flexibly indicated (also Technics Songs now can have their individual lyrics), this file format is the basis to adapted a text and an info file. Your personal display
You decide the way of displaying things.
Which for the Lyrics already is natural, the PLUG now offers for all file lists (SELECT Song/Alphabeti list/C.L.S.); they are available in 2 different font sizes!
4.
Settings and security
Personal settings and security is a further important part of the PLUG-iN basic system.
You select from not less than 11 parameters and store your completely personal settings to the SD Card. Unauthorized ones do not have a chance to copy its SD map or format these!
5.
Unrestricted access to SD-AUDIO or SD Sound data
The PLUG-iN system will not limit any of the KN7000 functions. On the PLUG-iN main screen you will find the direct access button to the SD-AUDIO and have also direct access to all SD standard functions.
6.
The SD "PLUG-iN" is extensional
The SP7001 is the basic PLUG-iN module for further system extensions.
Beside an extended Help/Workshop module, other modules like the direct conversion for Lyrics and Styleformate are in planning.
