I've heard good reports from people using the Chinese Studio Projects Mics. Yorkville also does pretty good.

MXL 2001 - hands down the best, CHEAP mic I own. Large diaphragm, side address studio condenser mic .... sells for about a hundred bucks, sound like a million.

I'm using an Oktava MK319. Got it at Guitar Center for $200, came with stand, shock mount, boom stand, and a 20' cable. I noticed they had them on sale for $99 (just the mic) a couple of weeks ago.... Gotta stay away from that place, or I'll never have any money!

Basically, you plug the MIC into the MIC input of the mixer. Since this is a condenser MIC, it requires a mixer with a preamp and phantom power.

You can use any audio recording software to record the audio.

P.S., have you come here before? Do you have a webpage? Do you still make beats?

Ain't it amazing how things change over the years! The sayin' use to be: " It sounds like a hundred bucks"!! Ha!
Now wasn't that a lot of help??

Basically, this is called the exageration effect where exagerations in sayings are increased by time in order to keep the same original effect.
