I am sure most of you know this, so my post is directed to the many new people coming here that do NOT know this.
There is a world of good information and how to posted on this forum that is mostly only in the minds of the posters and not in any "cheapo" manual you get with your keyboards. This is the way to have this info in your own computer all the time, or print it for your own use only. Remember about copyrights!
Highlight the post and copy. Click on your mail program icon (always open?), and then click on new mail. Post the info into the new mail. Highlight it in the new mail window and go to the format menu and select font. click on color and click on white. Now you can easily read the message after you click on it to dismiss the highlight. Now mail it to yourself. once you have it save it in that special info folder or print it and keep it by your keyboards. Now you can refer to it without hunting for it on the forum.

There is an alterative method which some may find a bit easier.
1. Find the post and Highlight the required text using 'Click/Drag'
2.Press 'Crtl C' to copy the text to the clipboard.
3. Start your word processor or notebook if you don't have a word processor and then just press 'Ctrl V' and the text will be copied to the page.
4. Save what you have just created.

All Done !

And, another way. . . Do just as Bill Norrie has said except if you can't remember the CTL/C and CTL/V commands, Right Click with your mouse on the highlighted text and select COPY to put the stuff in the Clipboard then after you are in the word processor or other text editor Right Click with your mouse and select Paste to put the text in the word processor. That's the way I do it. .

You're absolutely right Bob - I forgot about the Right Click - just force of habit using CTRL C / V, since I use it with other progs which don't support the Right Click - thanks for reminding me
