This book was compiled from the Technote Magazine 'Workshops' written by Alec Pagida so why not ask him?

Alec writes on this site from time to time (under the name of "technics player" I believe) and I know if he can help he most certainly will. Over the years, he has very generously shared his knowledge and expertise with all who needed help including myself.
