Does anyone know how to install the Expansion boards in the KN7000? I bought two and both mention how to install them on the KN6000. I checked Bill's page and didn't see any instructions. I'm hoping someone will know how to do this. It is recommended that a Technics technician install these. We all know how scarce they are.

Hi, Having fitted all 4 boards to my 7000, hope this helps.
1/ Turn keyboard over and you will see a panel fixed by 6 screws mine also had a cable tie looped through it,remove this panel.
2/ You will now expose the 4 sets of sockets, these are marked with small socket numbers,I can't remember if the lowest number is left or right, but if you went and bought a KN7 you must be smart enough to find the lowest pair of numbered sockets .this is the set for EW01 and then fit the boards in there sockets
3/ Replace cover plate and thats it!!
p.s. hope you turned off the keyboard and unplugged the mains lead before starting work!!!
Regards John.

Hi John,

I DID IT!!! You are the man of the hour. Thanks, very much. As simple as they are to install, it wasn't that easy trying to figure out where the two that I have belonged. There are several numbers and as things went, I put them in the right places. I have the number 2 and 3 boards. I wish I had the number 4. I would like to have both, number 1 and 4 to complete the boards.
