Hi Roger , have you found the music ?

I've searched via www.musicrobot.com without any luck !!

i found this site in Germany selling a midifile of the song
www.soundsoft.de/shop

If you manage to locate a free copy of the music I would love a copy and also the style !

it would a good tune to play on my little gigs !!

regards ..........Giovanni

Hello Friends,

Maybe this is my last email on this forum with a nice tip:
http://www.wikifonia.org/

Nowadays I visit a Dutch/Belgian keyboard forum which is nicer and more interesting for me. Take care all you, friends.

Kind regards, Fred

P.S. Have you seen www.music-tyros.com?

Hello Fred,

I am sorry to see you are leaving us and I cannot let you go without saying a very big "thank you" for your help over the past few years particularly for my KN SD Explorer Tool. I use it almost daily and it is invaluable to me and I am sure, to many others.

I'd like to wish you all the very best for the future. Take care.

Audrey

Hi Audrey,

Well, so now and then I will visit the site. But most threads are not very relevant for me anymore.

By the way if you visit http://www.jukeboxforum.be/jukebox.htm you will find me there and clicking on my protrait you can listen to a song from me.

Kind regards, Fred

P.S. have a look to www.music-tyros.com to de video demo of Martin Harris and then tell me your response.

Hi Fred,

Re: The Tyros3 demo. I visited the site and trawled through the whole thing. Firstly, I have to say it's difficult to pass comment on the sound because I don't have very good speakers on my PC. Having said that, I think:

1) The TFT screen will be better.
2) I like the new Super Articulation.
3) The Grand Piano is excellent.
4) Medium Big Band Shuffle is excellent
(seems very familiar - a KN copy perhaps?)
5) I like the fact that you can record
direct to the hard disk which I
understand is still an optional add-on
and for the price I would have thought
it would have been included.
6) Having a USB Port on the front is
definitely a bonus, but I would have
liked to have seen at least another
one if not more.

I did feel they should have shown the cost as that is usually the deciding factor for many people when considering a change. I understand this is going to be around £3,400 including the speakers which, by the way, haven't changed from the design of the
Tyros 2.

My local Dealer is arranging a personal demonstration in our area and I am hoping to persuade him to come to our Keyboard Club as there are one or two Yamaha fans who would be very interested. Even though I am considering getting a Tyros, the KN7 is still 'King' for me until proven otherwise.

All the best - Audrey

Hi Audrey, I purchased a Tyros 2 , 3 months ago , although i still use my great KN7 at moment, the T2 has some great sounds especially the organ section.. Will not sell my KN7 as i will still use this for some time. Chris.

Hi Audrey , I note with interest your comments on the Yamaha .
I bought a T2 it is without doubt a very good instrument as is the T3 .

I found out the hard and costly way ,that if you ,have a large ampount of technics styles and a very good reportoire that you use on gigs !!! think twice ...none of your favourite sounds /styles will work on the Yamaha ...not even via conversion software.

what you will need to do is virtually start all over again with your styles etc ...none will work to the same high standard of the Technics ...you will spend hours tweaking in a major way every style , and they will even then not be good enough to take out on gigs !!!

I expected with the tyros T2 to have all the latest gizmo and sounds ...I was not prepared to throw away years of good styles and have to redo all my entertaining routines ...i do not have the time or patience !! .......3rd party styles that are song specific are not available !!!

A prime example is the Glenn Miller sounds
all the proper intro endings that are on the Technics styles are not on yamaha and are not available for purchase .

Yamaha has many very good features .
it's just a great pity that style conversion from Technics is not one of them !!!

please note this reply is only my opinion and I have no intention of offending /upsetting any Yammie users

Regards .....giovanni

Ps ....Yes I sold the Yammie ...
